Indiana is one of the best places for motorcycling with its scenic, twisted and unpaved roads. However, before you can legally operate a motorcycle, you need to get a motorcycle license and learn how to ride a motorcycle properly.

Since enrolling to a Basic Rider Course may streamline your motorcycle licensing process, listed below are the motorcycles riding schools in Indiana:

ABATE of Indiana

American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) of Indiana is a not-for-profit, safety, educational, charitable and advocacy motorcyclist organization. According to their official website, they aim to promote safety, protect rights and help others. They offer one of the highest-rated rider education programs in Indiana.  Also, they use nationally recognized curriculum and operate under the direction of the Indiana Department of Education. The courses they offer instruct beginning and experienced motorcyclists to ride with tremendous confidence.

ABATE of Indiana offer motorcycle training courses at different locations all over the state. They held classes at Carmel, Clarksville, Crown Point, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis; which have three locations, Kokomo, Lafayette, Muncie, Richmond, Seymour, South Bend and Washington.  All courses are approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

Calumet Harley-Davidson

This Harley-Davidson dealer offers motorcycle training program to both novice and experienced riders. Rider’s Edge, the H-D Academy of Motorcycling offers both New Rider Course and Skilled Rider Course to riders of all skill level. All courses are approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and were taught by certified and experienced instructors. To register for a course, contact 219-934-6366 or fax 219-934-6376.

Harley-Davidson of Bloomington

According to their official website, Harley-Davidson of Bloomington is famous for fun. But aside from they are known also to provide motorcycle training education courses to both new and skilled riders through Rider’s Edge, the H-D Academy of Motorcycling.  The New Rider Course and Skilled Rider Course offer hands-on instruction and real-road experience. This will help improve the confidence and teach new riders the skills they need to get the most enjoyment out of riding.
