The Massachusetts Rider Education Program covers about seventeen training sites operated by eight separate, privately owned companies, training approximately 8000 new riders per year. Completion of both the Basic Rider Course (BRC) and Experienced Rider Course will fulfill the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) road test requirements. All training sites utilize the Motorcycle Safety Foundation rider course curriculum. Also, all rider coaches or instructors are fully certified by MSF and approved by the RMV.
