Learn to Ride Safely with Motorcycle Classes in Alabama | Alabama Motorcycle Safety Program Looking to get your motorcycle license or improve your riding skills? The Alabama Motorcycle Safety Program offers comprehensive Motorcycle Classes throughout Alabama, including certified courses from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. They provide hands-on training at convenient locations in Montevallo, Mobile, Gadsden, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa. Our Motorcycle Classes are designed for riders of all skill levels – from complete beginners to experienced riders seeking to refresh their knowledge. Here’s what you need to know: - Commitment is Key: Your registration secures a spot in a specific class. Attendance is required for all sessions – including the 5-hour self-paced e-Course. - Attendance & Requirements: You must attend all sessions, complete the e-Course (within 30 days of in-person training), and pass the Motorcycle Skill Test. - What to Bring: Long-sleeved shirt/jacket, long pants, over-the-ankle boots, eye protection, full-finger gloves, and a DOT-approved helmet (provided by AMSP). - Cancellation Policy: Classes may be affected by unforeseen circumstances (construction, emergencies). While we’ll try to find alternative arrangements, we cannot guarantee rescheduling. - No Refunds: Due to the commitment required, no refunds are issued for non-completion of the course.

Requirements: Motorcycle license (or equivalent), completion of the MSF Street Strategies eCourse. Provided: MSF Street Strategies eCourse. You Bring: Your motorcycle (must pass inspection), helmet, eye protection, and appropriate riding gear.

Bring a valid photo ID and a completed MSF Basic eCourse Completion Certificate (within 30 days of the class start date). Provided Equipment: Motorcycle, helmet, and visor. What to Bring: Long-sleeved shirt, sturdy pants (no stretchy), full-fingered gloves, eye protection, and ankle-covering boots. Completion: Passing the skill test earns you a completion card for DMV licensure.

Become a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certified Rider Coach The Alabama Motorcycle Safety Program is seeking motivated individuals to become certified Rider Coaches, helping to promote safe motorcycling practices. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of motorcycle riding experience. Clean driving record (no DUI’s, max 2 moving violations in 3 years). At least 18 years old. Own a street-legal, insured motorcycle. Strong communication and teaching skills (preferred).
