Basic Rider Course
State Motorcycle Training provides a comprehensive 2-day motorcycle course designed to equip riders with the necessary skills and knowledge to ride safely on public roads. The training covers topics such as basic rider course (BRC) endorsement, motorcycle safety tips and best practices, and equipment maintenance and inspection. Emphasizing motorcycle safety, the training aims to provide riders with the tools needed to navigate the road confidently. During the class, students will be provided with all necessary equipment, including a motorcycle, helmet, gloves, eyewear, and access to a 5-hour e-course. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible for an exam on site. In the event of a rescheduling request, students can do so without additional fees as long as they provide at least 72 hours' notice prior to class start time. The course is offered at three locations: Riverview/Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Orlando Magic Mall. The price for the training includes all equipment and registration, with the option to add a guaranteed rescheduling spot for an additional fee of $249. Students are advised to bring required items such as clothing suitable for riding, closed-toe shoes, and any personal safety gear they may prefer to use during training.
